Greeting readers, friends and family - I am proud to share this excellent Facebook post by Cynthia Peacock and subsequently shared by Melba Sugg Jennings.  Cynthia has captured what many of us have known since President Trump announced his candidacy and confirmed in his daily routine. As I have watched President Trump maneuver through these last several days, I noticed a few things I have seldom if ever seen in a US President. We have had some great Presidents but how many have you seen that have actively engaged and allowed their Vice-President to have a word and actually do their job...and have it seen?

In all of the years I can’t remember ever hearing from or seldom seeing the Vice-Presidents. I have also noticed that Trump puts in place and acknowledges publicly those who have skills in areas he does not. He gives them a face to the American people... he isn’t portraying He’s doing it all by himself or seeking his own face time. He is listening to, delegating, and empowering those who have a skill set. He is making decisive decisions, and making it known that he has confidence in them to carry out what needs to be done. He is stepping aside on the podium to let someone else speak, giving them credit, by name. (That’s humility people) He protects his team from the “heat” and takes the criticism. He praises and thanks them genuinely (publicly) for the tireless work they are doing.

He has a forward-thinking positive outlook not a doomsday negative approach.
He and Vice-President Pence are a team... He trusts Pence. All of that lines up with what a true team leader looks like. I’m thankful for Trump, he may be salty at times... but he is a leader with our best interest at heart. He can’t be bought; he doesn’t need money (he doesn’t even take the Presidential salary) and he doesn’t let “the media” determine what he does. He chose to work for the American people and that is what he has and is doing. (he wasn’t looking for power or prestige— he’s a Billionaire- he already had that) I want a true team leader (with no political pockets) to lead our country... because that’s the only way anything gets done right. Trump has exhibited those characteristics... sadly it is rare and what should be expected from all of those in leadership. It has been encouraging to watch him lead, and for him to give credit where it is due.
A Great Team Leader:
1. Exhibits Confidence
2. Inspires Others
3. Has Commitment and Passion
4. Is a Good Communicator
5. Has strong Decision-Making Capabilities
6. Holds Accountable
7. Delegates and Empowers
8. Is Creative and Innovative
9. Has Empathy
10. Is Resilient
11. Has Emotional Intelligence
12. Exhibits Humility
13. Is Transparent
14. Has Vision and Purpose

If you are honest with yourself... what kind of boss would you rather have? I know my answer.

I talked to a man today

Facebook Post
Craig Dew
March 16 at 5:37 AM

I talked with a man today, an 80+ year old man. I asked him if there was anything, I can get him while this Coronavirus scare was gripping America.

He simply smiled, looked away and said:

"Let me tell you what I need! I need to believe, at some point, this country my generation fought for... I need to believe this nation we handed safely to our children and their children...

I need to know this generation will quit being a bunch of sissies...that they respect what they've been given...that they've earned what others sacrificed for."

I wasn't sure where the conversation was going or if it was going anywhere at all. So, I sat there, quietly observing.

"You know, I was a little boy during WWII. Those were scary days. We didn't know if we were going to be speaking English, German or Japanese at the end of the war. There was no certainty, no guarantees like Americans enjoy today.

And no home went without sacrifice or loss. Every house, up and down every street, had someone in harm's way. Maybe their Daddy was a soldier, maybe their son was a sailor, maybe it was an uncle. Sometimes it was the whole damn family...fathers, sons, uncles...

Having someone, you love, sent off to war...it wasn't less frightening than it is today. It was scary as Hell. If anything, it was more frightening. We didn't have battle front news. We didn't have email or cellphones. You sent them away and you hoped...you prayed. You may not hear from them for months, if ever. Sometimes a mother was getting her son's letters the same day Dad was comforting her over their child's death.

And we sacrificed. You couldn't buy things. Everything was rationed. You were only allowed so much milk per month, only so much bread, toilet paper. EVERYTHING was restricted for the war effort. And what you weren't using, what you didn't need, things you threw away, they were saved and sorted for the war effort. My generation was the original recycling movement in America.

And we had viruses back then...serious viruses. Things like polio, measles, and such. It was nothing to walk to school and pass a house or two that was quarantined. We didn't shut down our schools. We didn't shut down our cities. We carried on, without masks, without hand sanitizer. And do you know what? We persevered. We overcame. We didn't attack our President, we came together. We rallied around the flag for the war. Thick or thin, we were in it to win. And we would lose more boys in an hour of combat than we lose in entire wars today."

He slowly looked away again. Maybe I saw a small tear in the corner of his eye. Then he continued:

"Today's kids don't know sacrifice. They think a sacrifice is not having coverage on their phone while they freely drive across the country. Today's kids are selfish and spoiled. In my generation, we looked out for our elders. We helped out with single moms who's husbands were either at war or dead from war. Today's kids rush the store, buying everything they can...no concern for anyone but themselves. It's shameful the way Americans behave these days. None of them deserve the sacrifices their granddads made.

So, no I don't need anything. I appreciate your offer but, I know I've been through worse things than this virus. But maybe I should be asking you, what can I do to help you? Do you have enough pop to get through this, enough steak? Will you be able to survive with 113 channels on your tv?"

I smiled, fighting back a tear of my own...now humbled by a man in his 80's. All I could do was thank him for the history lesson, leave my number for emergency and leave with my ego firmly tucked in my rear.

I talked to a man today. A real man. An American man from an era long gone and forgotten. We will never understand the sacrifices. We will never fully earn their sacrifices. But we should work harder to learn about them … learn from them...to respect them.

The Truth About Democrat Debates

By Terry Orr

While relaxing in my recliner this sunny, Sunday afternoon - was thinking about the ongoing circus (aka Democrat debates) - and trying to understand their logic (if they have one) for this coming November Presidential election.

I was thinking - If only 11 million people have Obama-Care, how will 24
million people die if it is repealed? Will an additional 13 million people
 be randomly shot?

I was thinking - Why is it that Democrats think Super delegates are fine,
but they have a problem with the Electoral College?

I was thinking - If Democrats don't want foreigners involved in our
elections, why do they think it's all right for illegal's to vote?

I was thinking - If gun control laws actually worked, Chicago would be
Mayberry, USA.

I was thinking - I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to firearms. While we're at it, let's do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter I.D. and candidates running for office.

In closing...

Right on Mike Rowe!!

Impeachment

Below is a Facebook post by Mark Ault, a friend for many years, a retired US Marine, a volunteer for the National Parks Service and National Forest Service serving as Campground Host. In addition, Mark and his wife Cathy maintain a Facebook Group called “Camping Friends” with over two thousand members. They have spent the last six years travelling throughout America helping our environment, naturals creatures and fellow campers. Mark captures the essence of this nightmare since President Trump was elected in November 2016. Thank you, Mark, for all you do for our country.

It is my sincere hope that this post/article reaches a significant number of America’s who support our President and will share this message.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!!

Impeachment

Each and every one of you should be ashamed and pray that this doesn’t happen....and, I’ll tell you why

For 8 years, we sat silent, while Obama divided our nation. He used identity politics, race warfare, and class warfare to divide us all. Obama thrust universal healthcare upon us and we sat silent, Obama and his administration removed monuments, statues and plaques....our past, our heritage from parks and plazas in cities and small towns around the nation....In the meantime, Hillary and Obama let 4 Americans die in Benghazi, while they watched on closed circuit TV.....Again, we were silent.

We watched Hillary Clinton and Donna Brazil rig a primary against Bernie Sanders. We saw Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch (Attorney General at the time) sit on a flight line, only to find that Hilary was exonerated for any crime; regarding her acid washed/bleach bit server and 33,000 deleted emails. Again, we were silent

We have watched our duly elected president harassed each and every day, for 3 years; even though he has put millions back to work, brought jobs back to America, stood up to our adversaries, and fought like hell to protect our borders.

Now, we see Joe Biden leveraging $1 Billion American dollars for his son. However, the Democrats and the media only care about impeaching Trump!

So, I can tell you with the utmost certainty, if you are successful in your witch-hunt, we will NOT be silent!!!

Tread lightly.......

Our country needs solidarity now more than ever - if we give in to what the media is feeding us, we are in serious trouble!

Once’s more, our rights are being systematically removed behind multiple Democratic smoke screens!!

My advice to you is you better buckle up and get ready!

This country is in trouble and the only one that can help is GOD!!!!

Everybody in America Should See This

Border Wall El Paso, TX - Impressive work by contractor

Sharing an excellent email
by Bruce Klein
Thank you

You never hear or see this in the "News" the very impressive work by President Trump's contracted border protection. Someday maybe the libs will be grateful for the border protection.

Fisher Border Wall El Paso, TX

Check this out, very impressive

This shows what can be done and how quickly it can be accomplished.

Extremely impressive.

THE WALL WAS BUILT BY FISHER INDUSTRIES:

Everybody in America Should See This

If you've been following "We Build the Wall" (private donations and on privately
donated land), you're probably aware of this unbelievable project that the Army
Corp of Engineers said couldn't be done (including 315 ft. of vertical grade from
18% to 31%).  But they did it start to finish in 10 days--cost between 5 and 6 million!!

Look at what the Fisher Company got done in 10 days!! No way our liberal press will
ever show this. Building this fence, in those conditions with the infrastructure in place
is amazing. It proves things can happen quickly if people work together, but our
Congress doesn't want this out!!

Please sent this to as many people as you can. People need to see what can be done.

This is what can be done for National Security in just 10 Days of professional work...
which is being held up by Elected Officials who have no interest in American Security!

Take a knee

Source: Facebook re-posted this morning 12/11/2019

Take a knee...

I don't think I've ever read anything more powerful than this piece.

It was written by Ted Nugent

Take a little trip to Valley Forge in January. Hold a musket ball in your Fingers and imagine it piercing your flesh and breaking a bone or two.

There won't be a doctor or trainer to assist you until after the battle, so Just wait your turn. Take your cleats and socks off to get a real Experience.
Then, take a knee on the beach in Normandy where man after American man Stormed the beach, even as the one in front of him was shot to pieces, the Very sea stained with American blood. The only blockers most had were the Dead bodies in front of them, riddled with bullets from enemy fire.
Take a knee in the sweat soaked jungles of Vietnam. From Khe Sanh to Saigon, anywhere will do. Americans died in all those jungles. There was no Playbook that told them what was next, but they knew what flag they Represented. When they came home, they were protested as well, and spit on For reasons only cowards know.
Take another knee in the blood drenched sands of Fallujah in 110-degree Heat. Wear your Kevlar helmet and battle dress. Your number won't be Printed on it unless your number is up! You'll need to stay hydrated but There won't be anyone to squirt Gatorade into your mouth. You're on your Own.
There are a lot of places to take a knee where Americans have given their Lives all over the world. When you use the banner under which they fought as a source for your displeasure, you dishonor the memories of those who
Bled for the very freedoms you have. That's what the red stripes mean. It Represents the blood of those who spilled a sea of it defending your Liberty.
While you're on your knee, pray for those that came before you, not on a Manicured lawn striped and printed with numbers to announce every inch of Ground taken, but on nameless hills and bloodied beaches and sweltering
Forests and bitter cold mountains, every inch marked by an American life Lost serving that flag you protest.
No cheerleaders, no announcers, no coaches, no fans, just American men and Women, delivering the real fight against those who chose to harm us, blazing a path so you would have the right to "take a knee." You haven't Any inkling of what it took to get you where you are, but your "protest" is
Duly noted. Not only is it disgraceful to a nation of real heroes, it Serves the purpose of pointing to your ingratitude for those who chose to Defend you under that banner that will still wave long after your jersey is Retired.
If you really feel the need to take a knee, come with me to church on Sunday and we'll both kneel before Almighty God. We'll thank Him for Preserving this country for as long as He has. We'll beg forgiveness for our Ingratitude for all He has provided us. We'll appeal to Him for Understanding and wisdom. We'll pray for liberty and justice for all, Because He is the one who provides those things. But there will be no Protest. There will only be gratitude for His provision and a plea for His Continued grace and mercy on the land of the free and the home of the Brave.

It goes like this, GOD BLESS AMERICA

Happy Birthday Dad!

October 15, 2023 Each day, I walk into my den to see what in new and what are my ‘to do’ items for the day and say good morning, Dad. This...
