One of my favorite movies is Legally Blonde. I especially like the scenes with Bruiser,
the dog and all the cute outfits he wears.
He had a particular fondness for pink, but the Mortar he wore at
graduation was the cutest! Another movie
with cute dressed up dogs was Beverly Hills Chihuahua. In fact, it was that dog's clothes that led
the owner to find her after she turned up missing.

Dressing pets is a fun thing to do, only if they don't
mind the clothes, and they are not restrictive. Some clothes are good for small
hairless dogs like Chihuahuas to help keep them warm, especially in the winter
months.

I have a small dog, a shih tzu named Snoopy. I don't regularly dress him; he is covered
with a fur coat all year long. I do
however have a couple of sweaters to put on him if his hair cutting time
coincides with a cold snap. He is
sporting one in the picture above.

Today is Dress Your Pet Day. According to dressyourpet.com, Have fun with
your pets by dressing them in cute outfits and safe costumes - but keep your
pet's comfort level in mind when involving him/her in this fun novelty day.
Make sure that your pet can see and hear properly and that they aren't wearing
something that might overheat them or incorporate any parts that they may chew
off and swallow. You may also want to include more treats and toys into your
activities to make it a truly enjoyable experience for your beloved furry ones!
